CRASH CARD & GREEN DOT SCHEME

Heli Bikes is the official distributor of the Crash Card for the counties of Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

The Crash Card is an I.D. & Medical Alert card that is placed in the lining of the helmet and a green dot sticker is placed on the right hand side of the helmet, which will alert an ambulance crew to the location of the card in the event of the card carrier being involved in an accident. The information contained on the card may assist the ambulance crew in the treatment of the patient, especially when the patient in unconscious or incoherent.

On the reverse side of the card is a mnemonic: CRASH. This is designed to act as a prompt for actions in the event you as a rider come across another rider who has been involved in an accident and you wish to offer assistance.

Below is a list of locations where a card may be obtained free of charge.
